  • What does the Dental Assisting Academy of Central Florida do?
    It is an institute for passionate students who are seeking a career as a Dental Assistant. We serve our courses from the basics, so students can learn the in's and out's of Dental Assisting from scratch. Students will recieve education from Dental Professionals and hands-on training in a clinical setting, fully preparing them for their future careers. Graduates will also have access to our Employment Assistance program.
  • What will I receive upon completing the course?
    Along with the skills and training that students recieve throughout our program, upon successfully completing their course work students will receive their DANB (Dental Assisting National Board) licensed EFDA certificate, allowing them to work as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant throughout Florida! Graduates will also get access to our Employment Assistant program after getting their certification.
  • How long will the course take?
    DAACF's Dental Assisting Program takes only 8 weeks, and will teach you everything you need to know about Dental Assisting, while providing hands-on clinical training to prepare students for their future careers. In less than 3 months, you can launch a fulfilling and prosperous career from scratch!
  • What will I learn from your course?
    Our course consists of both theoretical and practical classes. You’ll learn the skills you need to be confident and comfortable working as a dental assistant. Throughout your Dental Assisting program, you’ll gain valuable experience working with professional dentists and hygienists, as well practically apply your studies by working with patients in a clinical setting.
  • What does my tuition include?
    Our tuition is all-inclusive and covers our full 8-week program, course fees, books, supplies, exams, and your certification! You’ll get hands-on training from our top-notch staff and we’ll pair you with a knowledgeable dentist who will work directly with you. All graduates also get access to our Employment Assistance program.
  • When will we start getting to work with patients?
    Our course has two types of classes, theoretical and practical. After teaching you the theoretical knowledge of dental assisting, we will be putting you under the supervision of one of our certified dentists, where students will be able to practically apply their knowledge and get hands-on experience with patients in a professional setting.
  • What will I do as a Dental Assistant?
    Our instructors are happy to share what they've learned and helped you understand what to expect when working as a dental assistant. They'll teach you how to work with patients, schedule appointments, make dental materials, perform oral procedures, and much more. We want you to feel confident about your career!
  • How much do Dental Assistants make?
    As an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) in Central Florida, you can expect to make between $37,000 and $48,000 every year. That is an average salary of about $20/hour!
  • How will I get employed upon completion?
    After completing our course, we will be providing you with your licensed EFDA certification. This certificate will add to your resume and help in portfolio building to land you a job. However DAACF doesn't stop there. Even after completing our program, graduates have access to our Employment Assistance program, where we will provide leads for job opportunities, and work with graduates to ensure they find a perfect fit for them.
  • What is the total price of the course?
    Our 8-week course costs $3997, which covers books, supplies, exams, and your certification. In Florida, Dental Assistants can make upwards of $8000 in just ten weeks! We want to ensure our students have the best experience possible, which is why we offer Employment Assistance to all graduates.
